The GICR targets more than 85% of the world's population: 6 billion people in more than 150 countries.
Small, fragmented solutions will not work. To deliver change on this scale requires the collaboration of many partners.
The GICR partnership model works by pooling resources to deliver technical support under a common framework. Partners are brought together to contribute skills and resources to implement activities at the national, regional, and international levels.
IARC, together with the Regional Hubs, serves to coordinate linkages. Operating in this way makes it possible to reach more countries, provide greater impact, and avoid duplication.
