PAHO World Cancer Day 2024 Webinar
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is the international health agency for the Americas and the Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO). PAHO celebration 2024's World Cancer Day with a webinar on specific and current goals and challenges in WHO's cancer action, covering the main initiatives: the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer; the Global Strategy for the Elimination of Cervical Cancer; and the Global Breast Cancer Initiative.
Dr Marion Pineros of the Global Initiative for the Development of Cancer Registries (GICR) illustrated the crucial role of population-based #CancerRegistries to monitor progress of these global cancer initiatives.
